Actual Mood: Trying to not be ticked...

I really have no reason to be ticked -- Joseshin's birthday was yesterday, so the group is happily celebrating it today, we gave my dad his Father's Day loot, it's a gorgeous day after so much rain...

...I suppose it all fails to be impressive when you don't get a good night's rest because you were a) up late and b) dealing, quite honestly, with something crashing in the bathroom in the wee hours of the morning after avoiding specials on TV concerning home security systems and kidnapped tourists in Mexico because NOTHING ELSE WAS ON...

Yeah...I'm in a very not-ready-to-give-two-shits kind of a mood today...

I came back from the K's today to a house full of one yelling, whining child...and was seriously debating turning back around and asking if I could spend the evening...

Now I am failing miserably at keeping a steady temper...I was just informed by my sister that it is somehow my turn to do the dishes tonight, because I couldn't help not being home last night to do them, and I'm supposed to do them tomorrow. Whatever. I'll go drive Mom out of the kitchen, now...

But, just to help leave everyone in a slightly better mood than myself, here's something to ring in the solstice and the start of summer...
